group leader road map
before you launch, we ask every potential leader to walk through a specific process. this ensures you are equipped, supported, and ready to lead others.
1. foundations & membership: everything starts here. completing the foundations course and membership application ensures you are aligned with the vision and heart of home church.
2. homeschool: our next level leadership development course for leaders. you will learn the practical tools for facilitating discussion, managing group dynamics, and cultivating a healthy environment.
3. background check: because we value the safety of our people, all leaders must complete a standard background check.
4. application & launch: once training is complete, you will submit the "group registration" form, attend a final group leader meeting, and then—launch your group!
available roles
you don’t have to do it alone. a healthy group often has a team:
group leader: the primary shepherd and facilitator.
co-leader: partners in prayer and discussion, stepping in when needed.
host: opens their home and provides hospitality (perfect for those with the gift of hosting but who may not want to teach).
